Sister Keeper was designed with the vision of creating awareness and change among the public. As a 24-year old Public Health student i always have aimed to prevention and education as tools to bettering our community. The fact that for ages women have been seeing as subservient of men and violence as one of the crucial social mechanisms by which they are forced into a subordinate position, motivates me to "speak up" about the issue in expects of creating some sort of change and new mentality. The purpose of this blog is to provide the necessary information to empower all those women out there suffering the consequences of hatred, discrimination and misogyny. We have a voice, and it is about time WE let THEM here it!
